High Voltage: Beginnings Comic HAS BEEN RELEASED!

Hope everyone is having a good Friday (or Saturday) wherever you may be. Well, today is the day! I have just finished and released part 1 of the High Voltage: Beginnings comic. Before I post the link to the comic, I would like to say a few things about it first:

-This comic will be released in 3 parts. This is just 1 of 3.

-The comic is just $5 through PayPal.

-It's in English & a PDF file.

-This comic chapter is the pilot episode I created for the series.

-Be aware that the characters also look a litle different. I asked the artist to put a manga influence for this chapter... so the characters will look a little different than what you have seen on my DA page.

-I am telling four different stories at once. I am telling the story of Atticus and Xandross. I am telling the story of Commissioner Watts & Jax. I am telling the story of Lamar & Percy. I am also telling the story of Clyde and Matt.

-After the story of Atticus and Xandross, the focus is primarily on the exploits of Commissioner Watts and Jax (Percy and Lamar are also part of this story). With that being said, Clyde and Matt have a pretty minor role in the pilot. I included Clyde and Matt in the pilot because their role and their interactions with the other characters (Commissioner Watts, Jax, Lamar & Percy) become significant in the actual first episode. I wanted to especially give Clyde a small introduction, considering he is central to the series and since Clyde is going to start going through some drastic changes after the pilot.

-Telling all these different stories at once is probably the hardest thing I ever had to do. At the same time, telling four different stories at once is necessary for this pilot and is very important for the first episode. Everything is going on at the same time, and I am trying to encompass as much as I can within the pilot... so everything will tie together later on.

-I also wanted to address the cover of the comic. This cover is not a permanent fixture. As I said before, if people show interest in the comic, I will release part 2 and part 3. After all that is said and done (and if people are truly interested in the series), I will combine all the parts together, get them colored and release a full book on Amazon. Since creating the comic is pretty expensive, I only asked to have a simple cover created for right now so I don't have to spend anything extra for creating a highly detailed, well thought-out cover. So, if the comic parts receive enough positive ratings, I will have a different and cooler cover for the amazon full-colored release. Again... for me to release part 2, part 3 and the full-colored Amazon version later on, it all depends on how the ratings go with the first part of the chapter. If ratings are good, I'll continue releasing things. I just don't want to waste money if people aren't fully invested, you know?

-Finally, I am thinking about creating a forum on this DA page over the first part of the chapter. Just a place where people can talk about it, give feedback, etc.
